DAY 11Diary of Cirie Fields
If the Hospital was to return to the stronghold it once was, we needed to power to come back. I can see different groups forming on this team. One area is Colby and Ashley, our Romeo and Juliet of the group. Second is Kelly and Lex who both got along ever since we joined together. Finally there's Tom and I who we've been approached to by both of the other groups on what to do. It does seem like Both of us have a lot of power over what decisions happen, but somewhere down the line, we're going to have to piss one of the groups up. I'm not looking forward to it. The one person that doesn't seem to have anyone is Gregg. Kelly tries to get him to do stuff to help, but he tends to just sit around and complain. It really annoys me about his attitude and I'm surprised he is still around.
It was decided that what was important was to get power back to the building. There is a generator located in the basement level of the hospital in case of emergencies. The problem was that this area can also be used by hospital employees for parking and I was not sure how many zombies could have wondered into there. I gathered a group of myself, Tom, Ashley, Colby, and Gregg to travel down to the basement and flip the electricity for the building. As we traveled through the parking garage, we dealt with the occasional zombie that would be standing. What surprised me was when we entered the generator room, there was no zombies. It was very quiet. Then, we heard the sounds of someone crying in the distances. We went to go check out what it was. When we found the source of the noise, we found a woman on her knees crying. Ashley went to approach the zombie, but before the light from her flashlight could meet the woman's face, Tom stopped her. Tom explained that it was a zombie known as a Witch. I remembered reading about them in the papers found in the one office building. They are known to be very vicious so we continued our way to the generator. As soon as we started it up, it startled the Witch and she began to chase after us. We all ran out of the generator room and locked the door before she could reach us. We all started to catch our breaths with Gregg with his back on the door. Suddenly, I look up and I see the Witch's claws right through the door and through Gregg's chest. We all then gunned the Witch down until she was no longer moving. We then made our way back to Lex and Kelly to tell them the bad news.
For now, these remaining players survived... GREGG IS DEAD
